My Glam Fam (friends from my old dance company that truly feel like family) takes an annual vacation to Bass Lake. Ingrid's grandma has a roomy house on the lake, with 2 boats, and all kinds of toys to play with. Each little family gets their own room and bathroom, and we all share the cost of gas, food, etc. It's a great trip with great friends. The best part is that my Grandma lives only 10 minutes from the lake. This year she was actually camping at the lake, so she was even closer! She was able to meet Fin for the first time.
I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't the easiest of trips (2 kids by myself with no Patty, Finny caught a cold and never slept for more than an hour at a time, Noe got a 24 hour flu bug and was a tad bit irritable the later portion of the trip), but it was definitely nice to see my peeps even under stressful times. ;)
