Patty's Race

Patrick joined an Outrigger club earlier this year and we are so excited for him and his races.  It's something he loves, so I'm so glad that he's out there.  These pics are from his first race down in Mission Bay.  I have to admit I got a little teary eyed when he crossed the finish line.  What a sap!  The girls were yelling, "Go Daddy!  Go Daddy!" (well Fin was actually singing, but that counts).  Just an awesome and inspiring sight to see all the outriggers, all the people there for the same love, and the ocean.  Gotta love that. 

wacky hair day

 It was wacky hair day at school and I really got into it for Noe ~ purple hair spray, ribbons, little pink extensions, and a mohawk of ponytails.  So fun!!

And here's little Fin with her crazy hair compliments of her crib.  :)  She ran to the wall where I was taking Noe's picture and yelled "cheeeeeeeeeese".

Noe & Fin's Garden

 The girls and I decided that we needed a garden.  Why buy what we can grow?

 Our little herbs took off and are growing like crazy!!

 We planted sweet peas, carrots, watermelon, sweet red peppers, cucumbers, basil, tomatoes and cilantro to start, but it's a little addictive.  Patrick bought me this really cool book on gardening - grow your own vegetables in pots  by Deborah Schneebeli-Morrell.  It gives you step-by-step instructions on how to plant in almost any container ~ pots, buckets, bags, baskets, etc.  I can't wait to plant some more seeds and watch our front patio grow!

 We can't wait to taste the fruits (or vegetables) of our labor!

Early Mother's Day

Happy early Mother's Day Mom!  You are amazing!  You've always been there for us when we need you and we truly appreciate it.  You've taught us so much in life, but the one thing we just couldn't master is your stain-fighting abilities.  How do you do it?  We've been studying for YEARS and when it comes down to it we either call you or bring it on over and VOILA!  ;)  But seriously...thank you for all that you are.

Resolution month #5
