Father's Day

We hit up Legoland for Father's day this year.  Patrick's Dad treated everyone to a day of fun and the best part is that it's just 5 minutes from our house!!
Princess Noelani post face painting.  She sat perfectly still and was complimentary of the artist, "you did a beautiful job".  Once finished she insisted on wearing a princess dress.  Now Mom always packs everything under the sun, but I seem to have forgotten one thing...the princess dress.  Oops!!

Noe and JD after their face painting fun.
Goofing around with cousin JD.

Just having a blast!

Thank goodness for spare clothes, because being newbies to Legoland we had no idea there was a splash pad.  Noe had a great time and was wet from head to toe.  Man the fun of being a kid!!

Cousins

Noe's little 2nd cousin Bradley checkin' out all the water.
Finster just hanging with Mommy.

Daddy with his girls on Father's Day.  Happy Day to you Patty!  We love you!  Noelani was all about the map in this photo.  She was our tour guide the entire day.

Patrick with his Dad Raoul, and his brother Rob.  The Cinco Boys.

We were at Legoland from 10 - 6:30 with no meltdowns.  It was a great day with Patty's family.  Noe crashed as soon as she hit her carseat.  She woke up around 10, went potty, then slept until 8:40 am.  She was completely tuckered out!

Kauai Memories 2011

A Kodak moment in Hanalei.  We just caught the tail end of a rainbow.  So amazing!

My loves.

Kim and Kenz enjoying our last day on Kauai.

Trying so hard to get Noe to join in our family picture fun.  Not so much.  ;)

The Cinconettes

Patrick's Dad calls the girls the "Cinconettes".  Everytime he calls he asks "How are
my Cinconettes?"  It makes me giggle every time.  So here's what the Cinconettes have
been up to...

Noelani hopped into Finlee's crib to hangout with her and snuggle.
Finlee didn't last long.  She started screaming after about a minute, but Noe on the other hand decided to stay and take a nap.
Are cribs cool for 3 1/2 year olds?  It would solve half of our sleepless night problems.  ;)

Possibly my favorite photo from Kauai.  Noe in front of the shave ice stand.  Pat's quote, "Shave ice?  You bet your ass!"  It makes me laugh every time!!

Last Day in Kauai

My Dad and Mom sponsored a trip for our entire family to Kauai to celebrate my nephew's high school graduation.  15 people + one amazing island = tons of wonderful memories!
Here are some pictures from our last day in paradise.
Our flight wasn't until 10 pm, so we spent all day at Poipu Beach Park.

Papa Ray with Noelani and Mackenzee.  Chillin' in the bay.

Noe having a blast splashing with Pops.

Trying to get the water girl out of the ocean.  Good luck with that!

Little Auggie checking out the bay for fish and other creatures.

The kids catching some rays.

Noe and Augs ready to bust up the playground.

Besides a virus that managed to take out 4 of us, Augs had the only casualty ~ a run in with the reef.

Back to life...back to reality

Well, we are back from a 10 day trip to Kauai with my entire family.  I'll post some pictures soon, but here's Noe's quote of the day.  It brought a tear to my eye.

"Mommy...can you get my dreams back?  I left them in Kauai."

Me too baby girl.  Me too.

Finny Bear

Finlee had her first taste of rice cereal.

And she loved it!!

And if she could talk, I bet she would ask for more.  :)
