"Too much presents..."

 This Christmas I heard Noe utter the words, "Too much presents Mama."  Say what?  Who are You?  One smart girl.  Noe and Fin would rather play in a box and use their imaginations, than with the tons of toys they have.  Just goes to show this Mom & Dad that we buy too much crap!  Hence this month's resolution in full swing ~ PURGE & ORGANIZE!!

Ridin'

Noe got a bike (black with red rockets on it) with training wheels from Lolo and is suddenly all about riding her bike.  Now she's had a cool push bike that my brother spiffed up just for her, but she just didn't understand that she wouldn't fall over.  But she's riding none the less and I don't doubt that little Miss Finlee Sunshine will be on that blue push bike before we know it.  She was so mad that she couldn't ride with Noe.  She was trying to grab her spokes and pedals every time she would pass by.  Team Cinconette!

The things we love

 In the spirit of love, I thought I would do a post on the things we are loving right now.  I'm loving that the girls love anything art related.  Here's Finny wanting to be right in the art mix with Noe.  Now I'll be honest there was a little marker taste testing going on, but it was a fun adventure anyway.

 

 Patrick's love...his stand up paddle race board.  A good stress reliever for him and a fun time too.

 And my love...my new mixer!  I got it for Christmas, but had to send it back, blah, blah, blah.  Well it's finally in my clutches and I can't wait to mix away!  Ahhh...the little joys in life.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day...from the Cinconettes.

7 hours of uninterrupted sleep ~ check.  Heart shaped pancakes ~ check.  The girls both enjoying Noe's new window markers ~ check.  What a great Valentine's Day!!  And to top it all off, I'm married to a wonderful man.  Someone I can laugh with for the rest of my life!  Woo hoo!  Happy Valentine's Day!

Tea party

 Noelani was invited to her first tea party today.  Patrick and I begged and bartered with her to wear a different dress, but the smart girl that she is insisted on wearing her Cinderella dress.  Good thing too, because there was another girl there in the dress we picked out.  Fashion crisis averted.  ;)

Superbowl Sunday

 The day couldn't have started any better.  A comfy bed party in Noe's room.

It was an amazing Superbowl party for us.  ;)  The entire day at San Onofre.  Warm, delicious weather.  Happy babies ALL day and Patrick and I both were able to surf! 

And our day ended with this.  Ahhh...  Can't wait for Superbowl next year!!

Sister time

 Where ever big sister goes...little sister follows.  I think it's the cutest thing.  

Finny's post meal hairdo.  She loves taking a bite and putting a bite in her hair.  Funny, but it makes for a lot of baths in our house and a lot of wardrobe changes.  ;)

We decided that it was such a nice day out, that it was time to plant our little succulents from the Children's Garden.  They have been totally ignored and have managed to flourish.  Gotta love that!  So to the front porch they go.  Noe and Fin decided to lend me a hand.

Finny decided that she would do a taste test to make sure the potting soil was really organic.

Birthdays Long Beach style

We spent Sunday morning in Long Beach with Pat's family for Patrick and Fin's birthdays.  A yummy breakfast and lots of catching up.  Good times.

Here's Finny.  She finally got into the fridge.  She's been trying to check out the contents everytime I open it and she was finally successful.  Love that little bug.

Resolutions

2012 ~ the year of trying new things and getting back to the things that we love.  Patrick has started paddling with an outrigger canoe club again, and started doing stand up paddle boards.  You should see him, he's like a kid in a candy store.  He lights up talking about both and is so happy when he gets home.  I love it!!

As for me, I'm trying 12 months of resolutions.  Month 1 was flossing every night, no soda and trying to find time for myself.  We joined the Y here so I can drop Fin off and get some alone exercise time.  So far, this month has gone pretty well.  The flossing has become a habit, I haven't had any soda (although I dream about it :)  and I've gotten to take some yoga!!  Woo hoo!  A success in my book!

Month 2 ~ is all about purging and organizing.  Purging and organizing.  Every single square inch of our house needs to be cleaned out.  Out with the old and only in the with the "needed" new.  We are really good with the "in", so I'm going to work on the "out".  ;)
