New words and potty time

Yes there is natural beauty in Long Beach!! I took Noe for a walk in the nature preserve and it was beautiful.
She actually used her potty for the first time! I put her on it and left the room. When I came back she was running around naked, but I looked in the potty and there was the evidence!
No not chocolate pudding, black beans. She loves those things.

We've also been working on "please" & "thank you". (If the videos don't work, just click on the white arrow on the slide bar).

Memorial Day fun

Helping Daddy wax his board, eating her 1st donut hole and loving her beach tent.

Tearing up the DVD's. Noe's favorite thing to do.

Ok...funny story about this picture of my Dad in a robe. We have mysterious sprinklers our backyard and we had no idea how to turn them on. So my Dad, in all his wisdom, figured it out for us. But to do so, he had to turn each one on individually. They would pop up randomly and spray us unexpectedly. My poor Dad got the brunt of each sprinkler. So we had to toss his clothes in the dryer and he had to cruise around in that robe. Noe didn't mind though. She was able to cuddle with Papa and enjoy her show. Now we do have some blackmail shots for Dad though. Love ya Dad!!

Noe had a great day with her new found friend Buboy. Auntie Myra and Uncle
Ryan's new bulldog puppy. They both went skateboarding for the first time!!

Noelani loves to put clothes and shoes on herself. In this picture she looks
like she's going to take over the world. "Hmmm...What else can I put on?"

Just a happy baby swinging with her Daddy.

Mushrooms and thanks

Thanks Grammy Sue and Papa Ray for my mushroom pool! I love it!!

Surf Expo and a new addition to the Family

It was a central coast kind of weekend. Surf Expo in Ventura (where they had this awesome set up for the kids to play on), hanging out with the Wilcox fam, Kenzee's recital (which by the way she rocked) and then a quick stop in Santa Barbara to pick up Pat's new baby (see board at the bottom). Overall a busy, but great weekend.

Mother's Day and some odds-n-ends

Mother's day this year was a great day. We headed to the beach for some fun waves and a waffle breakfast made by the Dads.

Noe showed us that she's ready to catch some real waves and that she has a huge appetite!

Here's Patrick and our nephew Tyler waiting in the line-up. Spending time with loved ones is what it's all about.

Noe leftover skating in the kitchen.

Noe using her words.

Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful Mom's our there.

Sprinkler fun

Noelani had her first run-in with the sprinkler in the front yard. It was 5:30 pm and warm outside, but the water was FREEZING. She didn't care though. She just kept going back for more.

Vancouver with Friends

Noelani and I took a trip to Vancouver to visit one of my good friends. We scheduled it when we thought Patrick was going to be swamped at work. Of course it ended up being a really light week for him. Boo! At least he got to have a Poker night and play some tennis.
We flew into Portland (the first time I had Noe by myself on a plane) and stayed with another good friend (Ingrid and her daughter Princess Fiona) over night. Then we packed up the car and drove up to Vancouver. Normally a 5 hour drive, but with 2 young children it took about 10 hours. We had to stop and feed the babies and let them run/crawl around before heading out again. It was a long trip, but it was amazing! The babies were great and the sights were beautiful. Flowers were blooming EVERYWHERE. Even the grass was covered in little blooms. It was gorgeous, and getting to spend time with great friends was priceless. I call them my "Village". Unfortunately, I missed some other amazing people along the way, but all the more reason for another trip. The next time Patrick is definitely coming with us. I think he would love all the open space.

Noe chillin' in Auntie Ingrid's bubble chair.

At Stanley Park. Picking flowers and putting them in Mama's shoes.

Princess Fiona

Noe finally at home rockin' and relaxin' with her Yo Gabba Gabba friends.
