LA Zoo

Patrick took a little break from the insanity that is advertising and we had him for 4 whole days!! It was so much fun, but we got a little spoiled to say the least. Our first outing was the LA Zoo. It was so much fun. I think Patty and I enjoyed it a tad bit more than Noe. ;)

No nap? Really?

Noe has had the hardest time taking afternoon naps lately. She gets really tired, but fights it like UFC cage fighter. I've tried a stroller ride, driving her in the car, reading to her, TV ( I know it's bad), and letting her cry it out in her crib (after 2 hours I gave in). Anyway, I thought I would tire her out by letting her jump her way to a nap. She's having fun, but she's soooooo delirious! I combined that with a drive and Voila!! It worked!

Playin' Hooky with the Fishes

Pat has been working like a madman for about 3 months now. Late nights, weekends, you name it. So he decided to play hooky on Monday and we went to the Long Beach Aquarium. It was a beautiful day, and Noe had a great time. She insisted on walking everywhere, loved banging on the glass (which I know is illegal), and she cooed and would wave to all the fish. She was able to touch a bat ray and then kept dipping her hand in the tank and putting it in her mouth. So who knows what sort of algae she'll start growing soon. ;) It was such an amazing day with the fam. We've decided to appreciate the times we do get to spend together, rather than complain about the time away from each other. (This is a new philosophy, so sorry to those that have heard the incessant complaining from the Cinco camp). We love you all and are thankful for everyday!

Ballerina photo shoot

Last night while Noe played, I went through all her clothes and packed up all the things that no longer fit her. Then I came across these tiny little ballet slippers that she got from her Auntie Kim and cousin Kenzee. I thought for sure they would be too big, but Noe's got some size on those feets. Then I remembered that Grandma Sue had given her this onesie tutu. I had to do it. And then I went a step further and added the headband. Isn't she cute though? I'm sure that's what all those crazy pagent Moms say too, huh? I better be careful!!

And here she is deciding to give up the career in dance and trade in her ballet shoes for some Vans. Smart girl! ;)

I heart dance

Last Saturday night I was able to perform with some wonderful dancers at the beautiful Alex theater in Glendale. It was so much fun and just great to MOVE!! Sunday consisted of a dose of Advil and some lovin' for my sore toes, but it's all good. I would do it every day if I could.

Walking and words

Noelani took her first steps over a month ago, but now she's putting it all together and is taking off! Just yesterday she ran through the kitchen. Here we go!


She's also been picking up everything we say, so needless to say Mama needs to clean up her truck driver's mouth!! :0
