Under the weather and beyond

Poor little Noe got the nasty flu that's been goin' around, and after a week she's finally getting back to her old self. We never thought we would be so happy to see her tearing apart our laundry piles or standing up in her highchair. :) Happy Thursday!

Dental Hygiene and the shoe parade

Dental hygiene...after hearing my brother and sister's woes about baby teeth and their escapades at the dentist, we decided to start her off brushing early.

When she gets bored, Noe goes over to our shoe baskets and goes to town. Pulling out all the shoes and trying them on. Well, because of her level of frustration today (because she was soooooooooo ready for a nap) Mama decided to help her out. Here's her little shoe parade.

Growing up Noe style

Noelani absolutely loves reading books. Between Pat and myself we
read about 20 books a day to that little bookworm.

Another trip to Lompoc this weekend to visit my family. Noelani
loves hanging out with her Mamma Sue and Papa Ray, her Uncles and Aunties, and of course
all of her crazy cousins.

Her other favorite thing to do is to climb on everything.
Including her little scooter thing. We have races down the hallway, and it lets
me know that I need to get my butt back in shape. :)

February Goals

February mission: Get Noelani in her crib sleeping through the night.
Day 1: 2 hours of checking in and comforting her, then 2 hours in the middle of the night.
Day 5: 1.5 hours of checking in, but she slept from 9:30pm-7:30 am!

It's still a work in progress, so keep us in your thoughts!! ;) Tee hee.

Good friends and little bird legs

Last Wednesday, Noe and I drove up to Ventura to meet up with Marshall and his fam, and our good friend Rena. It was Rena's birthday and we hadn't seen her in awhile, so it was really nice to spend some time with her. We baked some brownies and little Auggie helped out with the candle. Later he dove right in with both hands. ;) Happy Birthday Rena!!
Do you ever see something every day and not really "see" it? Well, today I was just doing some things around the house when I noticed Noe's little bird legs sticking out of her shorts. They're so funny that I had to take a quick shot of them!

Cheers to everyone! ~A
