I'll spare you the pictures for this post. Actually, no pictures were taken due to the graphic nature of the following event and the lightning fast reflexes that were required. :)
Let me set the scene for you...
It's bathtime. Both girls are in the tub. I'm trying to get Noe's dreadlocks untangled from the previous night's swim party, when I hear Finny say, "Poop. Poop." So of course I respond with a smile and say, "Oh Finny...do you need to poop?" Thinking to myself, hey this girl just might potty train herself. How splendid! Ha, ha, ha! "Poop. Poop." Well, what I've come to learn is that when a 16 month old says "poop" it doesn't mean "I have to". It means "look what I did". Yea...here's where the lightning fast reflexes come in. Scramble to get Noe out, suds and all. Grab Finlee and put her on a towel so she doesn't slip. Turn around to face the music, unplug the tub, grab Finlee from digging in the trash, turn back around to take out the bath mat, turn back around to Noe screaming. Turns out that when your toddler poops in the bath, it doesn't necessarily mean that she's done. Oh yes, she went on the floor, proceeded to step in it and walk all over the bathroom. Wow. I managed to get it all cleaned up, but man what a doozer of a day. I'm pooped! ;)
